A couple of weeks ago we gathered our LA members for a luxe afternoon at the dreamy Rolling Greens Nursery to celebrate Febreze ONE. Our co-host, TV darling and lifestyle blogger Ali Fedotowsky greeted guests as they arrived in the lush plant heaven with her hubby and two littles in tow, setting the perfect tone for the family affair.
Once inside the gates, mamas were invited to drop off their kiddos at the variety of interactive play areas (more on that later!), pick up a cocktail and catch up with their girlfriends. What could be better than that? Turns out, there were treats for the mamas too.
First up, guests were invited into the test kitchen to indulge in some food prepping tips, perfect for the mama on the go. Jennifer Coman of Haute Chefs LA gave tricks of the trade which included tips for getting rid of odors before guests arrive. Salmon appetizers are one of her faves to prepare, but the smell can be less than inviting. She confessed that Febreze ONE is her go-to air freshener as it doesn’t include aerosols, dyes or harsh perfumes, it’s the perfect way to eliminate unsavory scents.
While the mamas were busy in the kitchen, the littles were getting their energy out in the Puppy Play Pen (can it get any cuter?!) with rescues from Wags and Walks Adoption Center and dancing up a storm with Baby DJ School.
After the mamas had their fill, we moved over to find our inner zen with Catherine Sheppard of The Life Styled. Catherine is a certified Fashion Feng Shui expert who loves helping women find calm in their closet chaos. With Fall quickly approaching, Catherine demonstrated how we could revive our wardrobe with a few key pieces (sparkly duster anyone?) and freshen up our favorite pieces with Febreze ONE, of course!
As the event was winding down, the littles made their way inside for some sensory exploration with House of Play where they could touch, see, hear and smell the various stations. Kids then had the opportunity to spread out in the Rolling Greens Greenhouse to plant their very own greenery and decorate the pots to their hearts content, hosted by the lovely ladies of Foxy Parties. We want to invite them over to the next ladies’ night at our house!
Guests sipped delicious sparkling wine Le Grand Courtâge and the new Très Chic Rosé throughout the event and coming together for this fun afternoon was a wonderful way to end our summer and shift gears for the new school year ahead. The idea of leaving the old behind and having a clean fresh start for Fall was exactly what we all needed.
