But in Australia we’re catching up – and when sisters Kate and Ashley got in touch with me keen to promote their soon-to-launch kids online fashion emporium @billieandkate there was no doubt in my mind what I wanted to do: throw the sickest Aussie Halloween party ever.
To start, that meant swapping the pumpkin for a pineapple (DIY video instructions here).
And I knew we’d have a few healthy snacks in with the treats, like home-cooked popcorn (DIY video instructions here).
I also wanted to dress the kids in clothes they actually might wear again – and that’s where Kate and Ashley killed it. Drawing on their knowledge of rad mama brands tucked away on Instagram, they decked the kids out in wicked black, white and super hard-wearing gear.
The final touch? A crew of crazy tiny tackers having the time of their lives. Happy Halloween!
