Find a way to do what you love. Life is too short to waste time doing something you are not passionate about.
Follow your gut.
I am passionate about moms and more generally women of other cultures. I love talking to them about their parenting habits, their birth experience, how they deal with motherhood and work. I am lucky to be able to do that on a regular basis through my work. I am also moving to North Africa next months and I am really looking forward to being able to get to Morocco, Spain or Germany meet like-minded moms in only few hours.
Our main goal is to develop an app or a print version of our Family Guides. These city guides, designed for cool, young and modern parents on the move, are written in collaboration with local influential moms that share with us their favorite kid-friendly addresses around town. Our guide will also offer exclusive offers for Little Voyageurs readers when visiting local businesses.
The other goals we have in mind is to partner with brands in the family travel segment in order to cross promote each other and develop our network of contributors around the world.
Cockroaches. I actually saw one this morning when I opened my dishwasher and I jumped to my husband's neck.
My website needs to gain in readership in order to develop sponsored posts and increase sponsorship from brands.
What you are doing is great. Keep at it.
When I had my first daughter, I suddenly got extremely lonely. I was the first of my friends to have a kid so I just could not really share my daily activities, joy and struggles with them. I remember jogging in a park close to my house one day and seeing a group of moms with babies the same age of mine. I literally crushed their meeting and told them I was in need of other moms support. We became friends and after that day I realized I will never be able to live without being in touch with other moms on a daily basis. I see Hey Mama as a wonderful community and support system with for my business and my personal life and interests.
