You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it
I would like to share with this community the things I know best: how to style people and how to incorporate the most fundamental tips and tricks of style into a mom’s busy schedule. I want my business to reach the people who need it most— people whose daily lives are often overrun by the many responsibilities of having children. Professional moms who must manage many moving parts throughout the day don’t always have time to tend to their houseplants everyday, let alone their closets, which is why I want to offer my expertise and flexibility to the community at heymama.
As the owner of her own business, Krys’ current challenges and ambitions are primarily focused on increasing the scope and breadth of the readership on her blog, maintaining her social media presence, and attracting clients who, like her, may have less time in the day to organize their clothes.
I exist in two worlds right now- the professional and personal- and one of my major goals of 2018 is to marry them more harmoniously. I want to find balance and stability in my home because it is so often my workspace. Categorizing and compartmentalizing my time and many duties into "work" and "not work" is something I can do to reduce anxiety and increase productivity, hopefully with the aid of other professional women who understand such an imbalance.
Social media is a useful tool for private business owners and entrepreneurs, but I feel it's one of the weaker links in my business model. My followings across platforms have been largely stagnant for the last several weeks and I want to stimulate growth and engagement in my audience. My hope is that a stronger social media presence will draw a greater readership to my blog and, in turn, generate customer loyalty and profit.
I want to join heymama because of both the similarities and differences between myself and the women of whom this organization is predominantly composed. We are all alike in that we are mothers, a lifestyle and experience which unites women everywhere, but the members of heymama come from all walks of life, professions, and backgrounds. In seeking to gain more clients and a larger social media following, I want to connect with the members of heymama because they represent the demographic for whom my services are most applicable. These professional mothers can offer me the business advice and guidance that will help me grow my business, and in return I can provide the many services that my business offers.
