Pipsticks, Inc Founder, Creative Director Family San Luis Obispo, CA
About Maureen
I'm a designer, a mom to four, a child of the 80s, and a life-long sticker lover. In 2014, I launched Pipsticks, a subscription sticker club. Pipsticks sends gorgeous, high-quality stickers to subscribers of all ages every month. With thousands of subscribers in over 50 countries, and a brick and mortar sticker shop in San Luis Obispo, CA, I am leading the sticker revolution world-wide :) Determined to bring back the art of sticker collecting, Pipsticks is launching a line of planners and sticker books in partnership with Workman Publishing.

Go big or go home.

Best advice you've ever been given

You can do it all, you just can't do it all at once.

Personal Passions, Charities, Hobbies:

I love letter writing, cooking, crafting with my kids, and entertaining.

What do you want to achieve in 2018, personally and professionally?

We are launching a collection of ten books with workman publishing in the spring. I'm eager to grow our subscribership and make connections that could lead to collaborations and exposure for the brand. Three years in, I've also gained a ton of experience in starting a business, growing it quickly, understanding the subscription industry, etc etc, and I'd like to share that knowledge with other entrepreneurs.

Name one thing that scares the shit out of you:

My husband dying and leaving me with a business and four kids. And heights.

What is one thing that would be game-changing for your business right now?

Being on Ellen.

If you could tell your 20 year old self one thing, what would it be?

I know you think you've totally sold out with this corporate job, but you're learning a ton that you won't be able to appreciate until you're 35.

Why do you want to be a part of heymama?

Since moving to San Luis Obispo, I'm missing access to a network of creative, hard working women. I'd love the excuse to come down to LA in order to reconnect with my tribe.

xx Maureen Vazquez
