I've always lived by the notion that everything you want is on the other side of your comfort zone... and more recently, my husband has encouraged me to always remember that when "Others go low, we go high...." in dealing with negativity.
My 89 year old grandmother told me to not live with regret, to learn a lesson from all of life's difficult times, and to try to be more present in each phase of your life.... don't be so quick to rush to the next stage.
I love being active with my family.... running, hiking, spinning.... and am passionate about human trafficking, which is much more prevalent than most believe.
Failing. I left an incredibly stable career/job to pursue my own passion of being able to content create in the digital space.... to be able to share my tips and tricks in dealing with life.... to share my practical, daily, style while being a mom.... and share how to simply enjoy life in a balanced manner. Oh, and I am also deathly afraid of sharks and cockroaches.
To move with the flow of life and not try to force anything. You grow up, you change.... which means your passions change, your focus can change.... your priorities can change. That's ok. Embrace it and don't do what you think you "should" be doing at the risk of pursuing what your dream is.
I think as women it is important to surround yourself with supportive individuals who encourage and help one another. Blogging can be an isolating community, and I would love the opportunity to network and meet others in a similar industry.
