About Shea
I spent my early years performing theater, touring with a Broadway show, and working in TV and film. After launching my jewelry line, I won a spot on LIFETIME's reality show, Project Accessory, from the creators of Project Runway where I made jewelry, shoes, hats, and purses. In 2014, I began consulting brands in LA regarding content creation, social media, etc. I launched my mommy blog to fulfill my passion for writing. I’m also a contributing writer for Huffington Post among other publications and a ghostwriter for several brands.

The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.

Best advice you've ever been given

Don't let your career define who you are. Your relationships are everything. At the end of the day, your career won't show up at your grave, your friends will.

Personal Passions, Charities, Hobbies:

I love making fun DIY videos and painting walls. LOL Singing is my soul.
I was a member of Step Up Women's Network for years.
I've worked with KidSave.org Charity - interviewing foster kids and creating videos for their charity events.
The last 3 years, I've donated jewelry to Rett Syndrome for their charity auctions.
Cool Kids Style Club will have a "giving back" aspect on its website. We have narrowed down a list of potential charities we are interested in being involved with although we are heavily leaning towards Rett Syndrome since one of my friend's daughter has it. Their research doctors are very close to finding a cure.

What are your personal/brand goals for this year?

My personal goal this year is to launch Cool Kids Style Club with a clear brand identity and voice that excites and promotes subscribers. I hope to deliver smiles to kids with the hippest clothes while allowing parents to spend more quality family time and less wasted hours shopping at the mall.

Name one thing that scares the shit out of you:

Great White Sharks!

What is one thing that would be game-changing for your business right now?

To have 10k subscribers for CKSC by January 1, 2018.

If you could tell your 20 year old self one thing, what would it be?

Don't let the disappoints and failures paralyze you. Let them motivate you to learn and grow with a fresh pair of eyes and an openness to new possibilities.

Why do you want to be a part of heymama?

I love networking with other women, especially other moms. I have found that women who support each other thrive, and moms especially need the support of each other.
In launching our new company, we would love to do an event with Heymama at our showroom in Venice as well as offer the Heymama community perks from Cool Kids Style Club.
