About Valerie
Erstwhile marketer (both in-house and agency) turned florist. Former side-hustler. I am currently elbows deep in getting my new brick and mortar flower shop off the ground after years of launching my business from home. Already dreaming up my next business venture. I live with my husband of four years in the NYC suburbs of Northern Jersey. We are hopeful parents, and have a puppy named Cosmo.

Sharing my experience starting my side gig and eventually transitioning to full time. Overall, manifesting goals into reality.

What is your biggest business challenge right now?

Time Management & Productivity

Why do you want to be a part of heymama?

Joining a likeminded network of driven and ambitious women. I believe that together we are a stronger force than going at it alone. Although I am not a mother yet, I am hopeful that in the near future I will be, and find solstice in entering a community of women whom have a wealth of experiences in motherhood and the challenges that present themselves in the balance of being present for all aspects of life.
