The Shop Up is coming! The Shop Up is coming! Our favorite shopping event of the year is about to hit Brooklyn and we couldn’t be more excited. What started in London in 2013 has now expanded to include annual pop-ups in London, LA and Brooklyn. This year is going to be our favorite one yet because heymama has partnered with our friends at Babyccino to make the upcoming Brooklyn pop-up the ultimate mama-and-mini event!

Courtney Adamo, Esther van de Paal and Emilie Walmsley are the brilliant minds behind the international lifestyle site, Babyccino. After first meeting in London in 2005 and then moving to three different cities, the trio formed the site as a means to stay connected and share fresh discoveries with one another. They’ve created one of the OG parenting and kids’ sites, and their longevity, coupled with their eye for finding unique and swoon-worthy treasures, have their brand continuing to explode.

Babyccino

We aren’t kidding when we say this is our favorite shopping event of the year. From the perfect industrial chic space in Gowanus, to the swoon-worthy makers and retailers, and of course, the Babyccino ladies themselves, this is the ideal place to get some unique clothes, toys and accessories for your littles, and maybe stockpile a few gifts away for the holidays. We’ve made so many discoveries in years past and love when we find local designers that we can continue to visit year after year.

Without further ado, we wanted to share a few of our favorite shops so you can discover your own latest obsession. After all, sharing is caring!

Indi Kids

We’ve been coveting some new indigo dyed pillows lately to update our sofa, so we were smitten with this new line of kid’s clothes. Each piece in the line for kid’s 0 to 5 honors the tradition of indigo dyeing from around the globe and is unique and insanely adorable. Our favorite is the Coco Romper but we just have one question…does it come in our size?!

Shop Up

Natti Natti

We picked up a couple of darling pillows by Brooklyn’s very own Natti Natti at last year’s Shop Up and we can’t wait to see what they’ve dreamed up for their latest collection. All of the organic bedding and home accessories are inspired by Sweden and will elevate your nursery style ten-fold. We already have a few of Natti Natti’s designs in our homes, but are seriously gushing over this adorable narwhal print right now. We’re adding it to the top of our nursery wish list…

Shop Up

Misha & Puff

If you’re looking to win the present-giving game at your next baby shower, look no further than Misha & Puff. We’re obsessed with every one of their hand-knit sweaters, rompers and hats — they’re so well made that they’ll be around for generations to come.

Shop Up

Mabo

With precious A-line dresses, perfect playsuits and cozy pj’s, Mabo has become a staple in our house as our kids grow. Every piece is made in the USA and is comfortable, simple and beyond cute. We kind of want another baby just so we can get a few more pairs of the drawstring striped leggings.

Atsuyo et Akiko

For those mamas that can’t stand to see your littles swoon over another character ensemble, this line is for you. Atsuyo et Akiko manages to make unicorns, pirates, kittens and bling look more chic than you could have ever dreamed. Each piece in the line from tutus to t-shirts, pillows to jewelry is sophisticated yet playful, and checks all the boxes for you and the littles.

Hazel Village

We love to gift our friends with quality toys that they’ll cherish. These handmade organic dolls and animals bring a smile to your face and a surge of childhood memories from when things were a little simpler than they are today. We’re coveting the Fancy Juliette Rabbit and Flora Fox and can’t wait to give them a snuggle in real life.
